Clap Your Hands, All You Peoples

לַמְנַצֵּ֬חַ׀ מִזְמֽוֹר׃ לִבְנֵי־ קֹ֬רַח תִּקְעוּ־ כָ֑ף כָּֽל־ הָ֭עַמִּים הָרִ֥יעוּ לֵ֝אלֹהִ֗ים בְּק֣וֹל רִנָּֽה׃ lam·naṣ·ṣê·aḥ miz·mō·wr liḇ·nê- qō·raḥ tiq·‘ū- ḵāp̄ kāl- hā·‘am·mîm hā·rî·‘ū lê·lō·hîm bə·qō·wl rin·nāh — WLC · 1

How awesome [is] the LORD Most High, the great King over all the earth!

כִּֽי־ נוֹרָ֑א יְהוָ֣ה עֶלְי֣וֹן גָּ֝דוֹל מֶ֥לֶךְ עַל־ כָּל־ הָאָֽרֶץ׃ kî- nō·w·rā Yah·weh ‘el·yō·wn gā·ḏō·wl me·leḵ ‘al- kāl- hā·’ā·reṣ — WLC · 2

He subdues nations beneath us, and peoples under our feet.

יַדְבֵּ֣ר עַמִּ֣ים תַּחְתֵּ֑ינוּ וּ֝לְאֻמִּ֗ים תַּ֣חַת רַגְלֵֽינוּ׃ yaḏ·bêr ‘am·mîm taḥ·tê·nū ū·lə·’um·mîm ta·ḥaṯ raḡ·lê·nū — WLC · 3

He chooses our inheritance for us, the pride of Jacob, whom He loves. Selah

יִבְחַר־ אֶת־ נַחֲלָתֵ֑נוּ אֶ֥ת לָ֥נוּ גְּא֨וֹן יַעֲקֹ֖ב אֲשֶׁר־ אָהֵ֣ב סֶֽלָה׃ yiḇ·ḥar- ’eṯ- na·ḥă·lā·ṯê·nū ’eṯ lā·nū gə·’ō·wn ya·‘ă·qōḇ ’ă·šer- ’ā·hêḇ se·lāh — WLC · 4

God has ascended amid shouts of joy, the LORD with the sound of the horn.

Sing praises to God, sing praises; sing praises to our King, sing praises!

For God is King of all the earth; sing to Him a psalm of praise…

כִּ֤י אֱלֹהִ֗ים מֶ֖לֶךְ כָּל־ הָאָ֥רֶץ זַמְּר֥וּ מַשְׂכִּֽיל׃ kî ’ĕ·lō·hîm me·leḵ kāl- hā·’ā·reṣ zam·mə·rū maś·kîl — WLC · 7

God reigns over the nations; God is seated on His holy throne.

אֱ֭לֹהִים מָלַ֣ךְ עַל־ גּוֹיִ֑ם אֱ֝לֹהִ֗ים יָשַׁ֤ב׀ עַל־ קָדְשֽׁוֹ׃ כִּסֵּ֬א ’ĕ·lō·hîm mā·laḵ ‘al- gō·w·yim ’ĕ·lō·hîm yā·šaḇ ‘al- qā·ḏə·šōw kis·sê — WLC · 8

The nobles of the nations have assembled as the people of the God of Abraham; for the shields of the earth belong to God; He is highly exalted.

נְדִ֘יבֵ֤י עַמִּ֨ים׀ נֶאֱסָ֗פוּ עַם֮ אֱלֹהֵ֪י אַבְרָ֫הָ֥ם כִּ֣י מָֽגִנֵּי־ אֶ֗רֶץ לֵֽ֭אלֹהִים מְאֹ֣ד נַעֲלָֽה׃ nə·ḏî·ḇê ‘am·mîm ne·’ĕ·sā·p̄ū ‘am ’ĕ·lō·hê ’aḇ·rā·hām kî mā·ḡin·nê- ’e·reṣ lê·lō·hîm mə·’ōḏ na·‘ă·lāh — WLC · 9
