Chapter 7
A Message to Ahaz
1
Now in the days that Ahaz son of Jotham, the son of Uzziah, [was] king of Judah, Rezin king of Aram marched up to [wage] war against Jerusalem. He was accompanied by Pekah son of Remaliah the king of Israel, but he could not overpower [the city].
𐤅𐤉𐤄𐤉 𐤁𐤉𐤌𐤉 𐤀𐤇𐤆 𐤁𐤍 𐤉𐤅𐤕𐤌 𐤁𐤍 𐤏𐤆𐤉𐤄𐤅 𐤌𐤋𐤊 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤃𐤄 𐤓𐤑𐤉𐤍 𐤌𐤋𐤊 𐤀𐤓𐤌 𐤏𐤋𐤄 𐤋𐤌𐤋𐤇𐤌𐤄 𐤏𐤋𐤉𐤄 𐤉𐤓𐤅𐤔𐤋𐤌 𐤅𐤐𐤒𐤇 𐤁𐤍 𐤓𐤌𐤋𐤉𐤄𐤅 𐤌𐤋𐤊 𐤉𐤔𐤓𐤀𐤋 𐤉𐤊𐤋 𐤅𐤋𐤀 𐤋𐤄𐤋𐤇𐤌 𐤏𐤋𐤉𐤄
וַיְהִ֡י בִּימֵ֣י אָ֠חָז בֶּן־ יוֹתָ֨ם בֶּן־ עֻזִּיָּ֜הוּ מֶ֣לֶךְ יְהוּדָ֗ה רְצִ֣ין מֶֽלֶךְ־ אֲ֠רָם עָלָ֣ה לַמִּלְחָמָ֖ה עָלֶ֑יהָ יְר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם וּפֶ֨קַח בֶּן־ רְמַלְיָ֤הוּ מֶֽלֶךְ־ יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ יָכֹ֖ל וְלֹ֥א לְהִלָּחֵ֥ם עָלֶֽיהָ׃ way·hî bî·mê ’ā·ḥāz ben- yō·w·ṯām ben- ‘uz·zî·yā·hū me·leḵ yə·hū·ḏāh rə·ṣîn me·leḵ- ’ă·rām ‘ā·lāh lam·mil·ḥā·māh ‘ā·le·hā yə·rū·šā·lim ū·p̄e·qaḥ ben- rə·mal·yā·hū me·leḵ- yiś·rā·’êl yā·ḵōl wə·lō lə·hil·lā·ḥêm ‘ā·le·hā — WLC · 1

When it was reported to the house of David… that Aram… was in league with Ephraim, the hearts of Ahaz and his people trembled like trees in the forest… shaken by the wind.

וַיֻּגַּ֗ד לְבֵ֤ית דָּוִד֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר אֲרָ֖ם עַל־ נָ֥חָֽה אֶפְרָ֑יִם לְבָבוֹ֙ וּלְבַ֣ב עַמּ֔וֹ וַיָּ֤נַע עֲצֵי־ יַ֖עַר מִפְּנֵי־ כְּנ֥וֹעַ רֽוּחַ׃ way·yug·gaḏ lə·ḇêṯ dā·wiḏ lê·mōr ’ă·rām ‘al- nā·ḥāh ’ep̄·rā·yim lə·ḇā·ḇōw ū·lə·ḇaḇ ‘am·mōw way·yā·na‘ ‘ă·ṣê- ya·‘ar mip·pə·nê- kə·nō·w·a‘ rū·aḥ — WLC · 2

Then the LORD said to Isaiah, “Go out… with your son vvv Shear-jashub to meet Ahaz… at the end of the aqueduct [that feeds] the upper pool, on the road to the Launderer’s Field,
𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 𐤅𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤓 𐤀𐤋 𐤉𐤔𐤏𐤉𐤄𐤅 𐤑𐤀 𐤍𐤀 𐤁𐤍𐤊 𐤅𐤔𐤀𐤓 𐤉𐤔𐤅𐤁 𐤋𐤒𐤓𐤀𐤕 𐤀𐤇𐤆 𐤀𐤕𐤄 𐤀𐤋 𐤒𐤑𐤄 𐤕𐤏𐤋𐤕 𐤄𐤏𐤋𐤉𐤅𐤍𐤄 𐤄𐤁𐤓𐤊𐤄 𐤀𐤋 𐤌𐤎𐤋𐤕 𐤊𐤅𐤁𐤎 𐤔𐤃𐤄
יְהוָה֮ וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֶֽל־ יְשַׁעְיָהוּ֒ צֵא־ נָא֙ בְּנֶ֑ךָ וּשְׁאָ֖ר יָשׁ֣וּב לִקְרַ֣את אָחָ֔ז אַתָּ֕ה אֶל־ קְצֵ֗ה תְּעָלַת֙ הָעֶלְיוֹנָ֔ה הַבְּרֵכָ֣ה אֶל־ מְסִלַּ֖ת כוֹבֵֽס׃ שְׂדֵ֥ה Yah·weh way·yō·mer ’el- yə·ša‘·yā·hū ṣê- nā bə·ne·ḵā ū·šə·’ār yā·šūḇ liq·raṯ ’ā·ḥāz ’at·tāh ’el- qə·ṣêh tə·‘ā·laṯ hā·‘el·yō·w·nāh hab·bə·rê·ḵāh ’el- mə·sil·laṯ ḵō·w·ḇês śə·ḏêh — WLC · 3

and say to him: Calm down and be quiet. Do not be afraid or disheartened… over these two smoldering stubs of firewood— over the fierce anger of Rezin and Aram and of the son of Remaliah.

וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ אֵ֠לָיו הִשָּׁמֵ֨ר וְהַשְׁקֵ֜ט אַל־ תִּירָ֗א וּלְבָבְךָ֙ אַל־ יֵרַ֔ךְ הָאֵ֑לֶּה מִשְּׁנֵ֨י הָעֲשֵׁנִ֖ים זַנְב֧וֹת הָאוּדִ֛ים בָּחֳרִי־ אַ֛ף רְצִ֥ין וַאֲרָ֖ם וּבֶן־ רְמַלְיָֽהוּ׃ wə·’ā·mar·tā ’ê·lāw hiš·šā·mêr wə·haš·qêṭ ’al- tî·rā ū·lə·ḇā·ḇə·ḵā ’al- yê·raḵ hā·’êl·leh miš·šə·nê hā·‘ă·šê·nîm zan·ḇō·wṯ hā·’ū·ḏîm bā·ḥo·rî- ’ap̄ rə·ṣîn wa·’ă·rām ū·ḇen- rə·mal·yā·hū — WLC · 4

For… Aram, along with Ephraim and the son of Remaliah, has plotted your ruin…, saying:
𐤉𐤏𐤍 𐤊𐤉 𐤀𐤓𐤌 𐤀𐤐𐤓𐤉𐤌 𐤅𐤁𐤍 𐤓𐤌𐤋𐤉𐤄𐤅 𐤉𐤏𐤑 𐤓𐤏𐤄 𐤏𐤋𐤉𐤊 𐤋𐤀𐤌𐤓
יַ֗עַן כִּֽי־ אֲרָ֖ם אֶפְרַ֥יִם וּבֶן־ רְמַלְיָ֖הוּ יָעַ֥ץ רָעָ֑ה עָלֶ֛יךָ לֵאמֹֽר׃ ya·‘an kî- ’ă·rām ’ep̄·ra·yim ū·ḇen- rə·mal·yā·hū yā·‘aṣ rā·‘āh ‘ā·le·ḵā lê·mōr — WLC · 5

‘Let us invade Judah, terrorize it, and divide it among ourselves. Then we can install the son of Tabeal over it as king.’
𐤍𐤏𐤋𐤄 𐤁𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤃𐤄 𐤅𐤍𐤒𐤉𐤑𐤍𐤄 𐤅𐤍𐤁𐤒𐤏𐤍𐤄 𐤀𐤋𐤉𐤍𐤅 𐤌𐤋𐤊 𐤁𐤍 𐤈𐤁𐤀𐤋𐤎 𐤁𐤕𐤅𐤊𐤄 𐤀𐤕 𐤅𐤍𐤌𐤋𐤉𐤊
נַעֲלֶ֤ה בִֽיהוּדָה֙ וּנְקִיצֶ֔נָּה וְנַבְקִעֶ֖נָּה אֵלֵ֑ינוּ מֶ֙לֶךְ֙ בֶּן־ טָֽבְאַֽל׃ס בְּתוֹכָ֔הּ אֵ֖ת וְנַמְלִ֥יךְ na·‘ă·leh ḇî·hū·ḏāh ū·nə·qî·ṣen·nāh wə·naḇ·qi·‘en·nāh ’ê·lê·nū me·leḵ ben- ṭā·ḇə·’al bə·ṯō·w·ḵāh ’êṯ wə·nam·lîḵ — WLC · 6

But this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘It will not arise; it will not happen.
𐤊𐤄 𐤀𐤃𐤍𐤉 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 𐤀𐤌𐤓 𐤋𐤀 𐤕𐤒𐤅𐤌 𐤅𐤋𐤀 𐤕𐤄𐤉𐤄
כֹּ֥ה אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֑ה אָמַ֖ר לֹ֥א תָק֖וּם וְלֹ֥א תִֽהְיֶֽה׃ kōh ’ă·ḏō·nāy Yah·weh ’ā·mar lō ṯā·qūm wə·lō ṯih·yeh — WLC · 7

For the head of Aram is Damascus, [and] the head of Damascus is Rezin. Within sixty-five… years Ephraim will be shattered as a people.
𐤊𐤉 𐤓𐤀𐤔 𐤀𐤓𐤌 𐤃𐤌𐤔𐤒 𐤅𐤓𐤀𐤔 𐤃𐤌𐤔𐤒 𐤓𐤑𐤉𐤍 𐤅𐤁𐤏𐤅𐤃 𐤔𐤔𐤉𐤌 𐤅𐤇𐤌𐤔 𐤔𐤍𐤄 𐤀𐤐𐤓𐤉𐤌 𐤉𐤇𐤕 𐤌𐤏𐤌
כִּ֣י רֹ֤אשׁ אֲרָם֙ דַּמֶּ֔שֶׂק וְרֹ֥אשׁ דַּמֶּ֖שֶׂק רְצִ֑ין וּבְע֗וֹד שִׁשִּׁ֤ים וְחָמֵשׁ֙ שָׁנָ֔ה אֶפְרַ֖יִם יֵחַ֥ת מֵעָֽם׃ kî rōš ’ă·rām dam·me·śeq wə·rōš dam·me·śeq rə·ṣîn ū·ḇə·‘ō·wḏ šiš·šîm wə·ḥā·mêš šā·nāh ’ep̄·ra·yim yê·ḥaṯ mê·‘ām — WLC · 8

The head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is the son of Remaliah. If you do not stand firm in your faith, then you will not stand at all.’”

וְרֹ֤אשׁ אֶפְרַ֙יִם֙ שֹׁמְר֔וֹן וְרֹ֥אשׁ שֹׁמְר֖וֹן בֶּן־ רְמַלְיָ֑הוּ אִ֚ם לֹ֣א תַאֲמִ֔ינוּ כִּ֖י לֹ֥א תֵאָמֵֽנוּ׃ס wə·rōš ’ep̄·ra·yim šō·mə·rō·wn wə·rōš šō·mə·rō·wn ben- rə·mal·yā·hū ’im lō ṯa·’ă·mî·nū kî lō ṯê·’ā·mê·nū — WLC · 9
The Sign of Immanuel

Again the LORD spoke to Ahaz, saying,
𐤅𐤉𐤅𐤎𐤐 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 𐤃𐤁𐤓 𐤀𐤋 𐤀𐤇𐤆 𐤋𐤀𐤌𐤓
וַיּ֣וֹסֶף יְהוָ֔ה דַּבֵּ֥ר אֶל־ אָחָ֖ז לֵאמֹֽר׃ way·yō·w·sep̄ Yah·weh dab·bêr ’el- ’ā·ḥāz lê·mōr — WLC · 10

“Ask for a sign from the LORD your God, [whether] from the depths of Sheol or the heights of heaven.”
𐤔𐤀𐤋 𐤋𐤊 𐤀𐤅𐤕 𐤌𐤏𐤌 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 𐤀𐤋𐤄𐤉𐤊 𐤄𐤏𐤌𐤒 𐤔𐤀𐤋𐤄 𐤀𐤅 𐤄𐤂𐤁𐤄 𐤋𐤌𐤏𐤋𐤄
שְׁאַל־ לְךָ֣ א֔וֹת מֵעִ֖ם יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֑יךָ הַעְמֵ֣ק שְׁאָ֔לָה א֖וֹ הַגְבֵּ֥הַּ לְמָֽעְלָה׃ šə·’al- lə·ḵā ’ō·wṯ mê·‘im Yah·weh ’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā ha‘·mêq šə·’ā·lāh ’ōw haḡ·bê·ah lə·mā·‘ə·lāh — WLC · 11

But Ahaz replied, “I will not ask; I will not test the LORD.”

אָחָ֑ז וַיֹּ֖אמֶר לֹא־ אֶשְׁאַ֥ל וְלֹֽא־ אֲנַסֶּ֖ה אֶת־ יְהוָֽה׃ ’ā·ḥāz way·yō·mer lō- ’eš·’al wə·lō- ’ă·nas·seh ’eṯ- Yah·weh — WLC · 12

Then Isaiah said, “Hear now, O house of David! Is it not enough to try the patience of men?… Will you try the patience of my God as well?
𐤅𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤓 𐤔𐤌𐤏𐤅 𐤍𐤀 𐤁𐤉𐤕 𐤃𐤅𐤃 𐤄𐤌𐤏𐤈 𐤌𐤊𐤌 𐤄𐤋𐤀𐤅𐤕 𐤀𐤍𐤔𐤉𐤌 𐤊𐤉 𐤀𐤕 𐤕𐤋𐤀𐤅 𐤀𐤋𐤄𐤉 𐤂𐤌
וַיֹּ֕אמֶר שִׁמְעוּ־ נָ֖א בֵּ֣ית דָּוִ֑ד הַמְעַ֤ט מִכֶּם֙ הַלְא֣וֹת אֲנָשִׁ֔ים כִּ֥י אֶת־ תַלְא֖וּ אֱלֹהָֽי׃ גַּ֥ם way·yō·mer šim·‘ū- nā bêṯ dā·wiḏ ham·‘aṭ mik·kem hal·’ō·wṯ ’ă·nā·šîm kî ’eṯ- ṯal·’ū ’ĕ·lō·hāy gam — WLC · 13

Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin will be with child and give birth to a son, and will call Him vvv Immanuel.
𐤋𐤊𐤍 𐤀𐤃𐤍𐤉 𐤄𐤅𐤀 𐤉𐤕𐤍 𐤋𐤊𐤌 𐤀𐤅𐤕 𐤄𐤍𐤄 𐤄𐤏𐤋𐤌𐤄 𐤄𐤓𐤄 𐤅𐤉𐤋𐤃𐤕 𐤁𐤍 𐤅𐤒𐤓𐤀𐤕 𐤔𐤌𐤅 𐤏𐤌𐤍𐤅 𐤀𐤋
לָ֠כֵן אֲדֹנָ֥י ה֛וּא יִתֵּ֨ן לָכֶ֖ם א֑וֹת הִנֵּ֣ה הָעַלְמָ֗ה הָרָה֙ וְיֹלֶ֣דֶת בֵּ֔ן וְקָרָ֥את שְׁמ֖וֹ עִמָּ֥נוּ אֵֽל׃ lā·ḵên ’ă·ḏō·nāy hū yit·tên lā·ḵem ’ō·wṯ hin·nêh hā·‘al·māh hā·rāh wə·yō·le·ḏeṯ bên wə·qā·rāṯ šə·mōw ‘im·mā·nū ’êl — WLC · 14

By the time He knows [enough] to reject evil and choose good, He will be eating curds and honey.
𐤋𐤃𐤏𐤕𐤅 𐤌𐤀𐤅𐤎 𐤁𐤓𐤏 𐤅𐤁𐤇𐤅𐤓 𐤁𐤈𐤅𐤁 𐤉𐤀𐤊𐤋 𐤇𐤌𐤀𐤄 𐤅𐤃𐤁𐤔
לְדַעְתּ֛וֹ מָא֥וֹס בָּרָ֖ע וּבָח֥וֹר בַּטּֽוֹב׃ יֹאכֵ֑ל חֶמְאָ֥ה וּדְבַ֖שׁ lə·ḏa‘·tōw mā·’ō·ws bā·rā‘ ū·ḇā·ḥō·wr baṭ·ṭō·wḇ yō·ḵêl ḥem·’āh ū·ḏə·ḇaš — WLC · 15

For before the boy knows [enough] to reject evil and choose good, the land of the two kings you dread… will be laid waste.

כִּ֠י בְּטֶ֨רֶם הַנַּ֛עַר יֵדַ֥ע מָאֹ֥ס בָּרָ֖ע וּבָחֹ֣ר בַּטּ֑וֹב הָאֲדָמָה֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר שְׁנֵ֥י מְלָכֶֽיהָ׃ אַתָּ֣ה קָ֔ץ מִפְּנֵ֖י תֵּעָזֵ֤ב kî bə·ṭe·rem han·na·‘ar yê·ḏa‘ mā·’ōs bā·rā‘ ū·ḇā·ḥōr baṭ·ṭō·wḇ hā·’ă·ḏā·māh ’ă·šer šə·nê mə·lā·ḵe·hā ’at·tāh qāṣ mip·pə·nê tê·‘ā·zêḇ — WLC · 16
Judgment to Come
17
The LORD will bring on you and on your people and on the house of your father a time unlike… [any since] the day Ephraim… separated from Judah— [He will bring] the king of Assyria.”

יְהוָ֜ה יָבִ֨יא עָלֶ֗יךָ וְעַֽל־ עַמְּךָ֮ וְעַל־ בֵּ֣ית אָבִיךָ֒ יָמִים֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר לֹא־ בָ֔אוּ לְמִיּ֥וֹם אֶפְרַ֖יִם מֵעַ֣ל סוּר־ יְהוּדָ֑ה אֵ֖ת מֶ֥לֶךְ אַשּֽׁוּר׃פ Yah·weh yā·ḇî ‘ā·le·ḵā wə·‘al- ‘am·mə·ḵā wə·‘al- bêṯ ’ā·ḇî·ḵā yā·mîm ’ă·šer lō- ḇā·’ū lə·mî·yō·wm ’ep̄·ra·yim mê·‘al sūr- yə·hū·ḏāh ’êṯ me·leḵ ’aš·šūr — WLC · 17

- On that day the LORD will whistle to the flies at the farthest streams of the Nile and to the bees in the land of Assyria.
𐤅𐤄𐤉𐤄 𐤄𐤄𐤅𐤀 𐤁𐤉𐤅𐤌 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 𐤉𐤔𐤓𐤒 𐤋𐤆𐤁𐤅𐤁 𐤀𐤔𐤓 𐤁𐤒𐤑𐤄 𐤉𐤀𐤓𐤉 𐤌𐤑𐤓𐤉𐤌 𐤅𐤋𐤃𐤁𐤅𐤓𐤄 𐤀𐤔𐤓 𐤁𐤀𐤓𐤑 𐤀𐤔𐤅𐤓
וְהָיָ֣ה׀ הַה֗וּא בַּיּ֣וֹם יְהוָה֙ יִשְׁרֹ֤ק לַזְּב֔וּב אֲשֶׁ֥ר בִּקְצֵ֖ה יְאֹרֵ֣י מִצְרָ֑יִם וְלַ֨דְּבוֹרָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֖ר בְּאֶ֥רֶץ אַשּֽׁוּר׃ wə·hā·yāh ha·hū bay·yō·wm Yah·weh yiš·rōq laz·zə·ḇūḇ ’ă·šer biq·ṣêh yə·’ō·rê miṣ·rā·yim wə·lad·də·ḇō·w·rāh ’ă·šer bə·’e·reṣ ’aš·šūr — WLC · 18

And they will all come and settle in the steep ravines and clefts of the rocks, in all the thornbushes and watering holes.

On that day the Lord will use a razor hired from beyond the Euphrates the king of Assyria— to shave your head and the hair of your legs, and to remove your beard as well. -

הַה֡וּא בַּיּ֣וֹם אֲדֹנָי֩ בְּתַ֨עַר הַשְּׂכִירָ֜ה בְּעֶבְרֵ֤י נָהָר֙ בְּמֶ֣לֶךְ אַשּׁ֔וּר אֶת־ יְגַלַּ֣ח הָרֹ֖אשׁ וְשַׂ֣עַר הָרַגְלָ֑יִם תִּסְפֶּֽה׃ס הַזָּקָ֖ן וְגַ֥ם אֶת־ ha·hū bay·yō·wm ’ă·ḏō·nāy bə·ṯa·‘ar haś·śə·ḵî·rāh bə·‘eḇ·rê nā·hār bə·me·leḵ ’aš·šūr ’eṯ- yə·ḡal·laḥ hā·rōš wə·śa·‘ar hā·raḡ·lā·yim tis·peh haz·zā·qān wə·ḡam ’eṯ- — WLC · 20

- On that day a man will raise a young cow… and two sheep,

and from the abundance of milk they give, he will eat curds; for all who remain in the land will eat curds and honey.

וְהָיָ֗ה מֵרֹ֛ב חָלָ֖ב עֲשׂ֥וֹת יֹאכַ֣ל חֶמְאָ֑ה כִּֽי־ כָּל־ הַנּוֹתָ֖ר בְּקֶ֥רֶב הָאָֽרֶץ׃ יֹאכֵ֔ל חֶמְאָ֤ה וּדְבַשׁ֙ wə·hā·yāh mê·rōḇ ḥā·lāḇ ‘ă·śō·wṯ yō·ḵal ḥem·’āh kî- kāl- han·nō·w·ṯār bə·qe·reḇ hā·’ā·reṣ yō·ḵêl ḥem·’āh ū·ḏə·ḇaš — WLC · 22

And on that day, - in every place that had… a thousand vines worth a thousand [shekels] of silver, only briers and thorns will be found.

הַה֔וּא בַּיּ֣וֹם וְהָיָה֙ יִֽהְיֶ֣ה כָל־ מָק֗וֹם אֲשֶׁ֧ר יִֽהְיֶה־ שָּׁ֛ם אֶ֥לֶף גֶּ֖פֶן בְּאֶ֣לֶף כָּ֑סֶף לַשָּׁמִ֥יר וְלַשַּׁ֖יִת יִֽהְיֶֽה׃ ha·hū bay·yō·wm wə·hā·yāh yih·yeh ḵāl mā·qō·wm ’ă·šer yih·yeh- šām ’e·lep̄ ge·p̄en bə·’e·lep̄ kā·sep̄ laš·šā·mîr wə·laš·ša·yiṯ yih·yeh — WLC · 23

Men will go there with bow and arrow, for the land will be [covered with] briers and thorns.

יָ֣בוֹא שָׁ֑מָּה וּבַקֶּ֖שֶׁת בַּחִצִּ֥ים כִּי־ הָאָֽרֶץ׃ תִּֽהְיֶ֥ה כָל־ שָׁמִ֥יר וָשַׁ֖יִת yā·ḇō·w šām·māh ū·ḇaq·qe·šeṯ ba·ḥiṣ·ṣîm kî- hā·’ā·reṣ tih·yeh ḵāl šā·mîr wā·ša·yiṯ — WLC · 24

For fear of the briers and thorns, you will no longer traverse the hills once tilled… by the hoe; they will become [places] for oxen to graze and sheep to trample.

יִרְאַ֖ת שָׁמִ֣יר וָשָׁ֑יִת לֹֽא־ תָב֣וֹא שָׁ֔מָּה הֶהָרִ֗ים אֲשֶׁ֤ר יֵעָ֣דֵר֔וּן וְכֹ֣ל בַּמַּעְדֵּר֙ וְהָיָה֙ שׁ֔וֹר לְמִשְׁלַ֣ח שֶֽׂה׃פ וּלְמִרְמַ֖ס yir·’aṯ šā·mîr wā·šā·yiṯ lō- ṯā·ḇō·w šām·māh he·hā·rîm ’ă·šer yê·‘ā·ḏê·rūn wə·ḵōl bam·ma‘·dêr wə·hā·yāh šō·wr lə·miš·laḥ śeh ū·lə·mir·mas — WLC · 25
